![]() Do the conscripts "perform" as conscripts while assuming different roles or do they perform as the unit within that squad (which would also imply that a conscript joining a different unit would get their veteran bonuses instead).I've been using conscripts a lot more than penals, mostly because I just like them as a unit over penals.īut my god they're top tier garbage, espesially early game. In the files the conscript is hitting harder with the standard Mosin at like 4 damage compared to an engineer's 2. Speaking of that, base stats would also be included in this question. Will the bulletin give them bonuses while they're in other squads or no? Finally, similar to the last question, will a veteran conscript that is merged into a different squad keep their veteran buffs? I lean towards no on that one, for example, if I merge with engineers, the conscripts can build and repair things so it feels like they've just become an engineer (Note: this should also imply that conscripts would receive the "to the last man" bonus as mentioned earlier). Has anyone else run into the issue in other circumstances? Secondly, intel bulletins are something I've been looking into, I have a bunch of them for different commanders and combos but I recently decided that if I was going to play around the merge mechanic, wouldn't I rather just want the conscript buffs? Thing is, I have no idea if conscripts that have merged into a different squad "count" as conscripts anymore. The conscripts merged with one getting an AT rifle but the others getting nothing! It actually made me so sad, I was hoping to play around the "to the last man" bonus by playing around reinforcement in such a way that I kept penal-s at lower health for a while longer without having to retreat them. I was merging with a penal squad that had lost all but two members and AT rifles. ![]() ![]() Firstly, I've stumbled upon a pretty big issue. ![]()
